The BladeWave Series Paring Knife is the best kitchen tool for precise work. This small yet effective knife, which has a 4-inch blade and measures 9 inches overall, is made for delicate cuts that call for dexterity and control, as well as for peeling fruits, trimming vegetables and deveining prawns.
This blade is made by hand from 224 layers of Damascus steel, combining AISI 4340 nickel alloy steel with AISI 5160 high carbon spring steel to provide remarkable durability and sharpness. The knife's etched fish-scale design not only improves its appearance but also lessens sticking and friction when making delicate cuts.
Made from vibrant blue resin and stabilised wood, the ergonomic handle is made for precise handling. The handle, which is 5 inches long and fits comfortably in the hand, offers balance and stability for delicate work.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

- Hand Wash Only: Always wash the knife by hand with warm water and mild soap. Dry it immediately with a soft cloth to prevent moisture spots or corrosion. Never place in a dishwasher.
- Oil After Use: After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (or food-safe mineral oil) to the blade. Rub it gently across the surface using a soft cloth or paper towel. This helps protect the high-carbon steel from moisture and oxidation.
- Store Safely: Keep the knife in a dry environment, preferably in its sheath or on a magnetic strip. Avoid storing it in a damp drawer or leather sheath for extended periods.
Regular oiling is especially important for Damascus blades forged with high-carbon steel, as their layered structure and heat treatment make them exceptionally sharp but more reactive to moisture. Proper care ensures the blade remains rust-free and preserves the striking Damascus pattern for years to come.
