This blade is made to last thanks to its 224 layers of Damascus steel, which is forged from a combination of AISI 4340 nickel alloy steel and AISI 5160 high carbon spring steel. While the hammered finish reduces food sticking and ensures smooth slicing from end to end, the intricate fish-scale pattern etched into the blade surface provides a stunning visual.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

- Oil After Use: After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (or food-safe mineral oil) to the blade. Rub it gently across the surface using a soft cloth or paper towel. This helps protect the high-carbon steel from moisture and oxidation.
- Store Safely: Keep the knife in a dry environment, preferably in its sheath or on a magnetic strip. Avoid storing it in a damp drawer or leather sheath for extended periods.
Regular oiling is especially important for Damascus blades forged with high-carbon steel, as their layered structure and heat treatment make them exceptionally sharp but more reactive to moisture. Proper care ensures the blade remains rust-free and preserves the striking Damascus pattern for years to come.
