Precision carving is the focus of the EdgeCraft Series 12" Slicer Knife's design. This blade's 12.1-inch blade length and 17.1-inch overall length allow it to make long, sweeping cuts that preserve the quality and appearance of meats and fish. The narrow profile guarantees little resistance when cutting through a roast, brisket, gammon or filleting fish, making clean, smooth slices effortless.
The slicer is hand-forged from our 224-layer Damascus steel blend, which combines AISI 4340 nickel alloy steel and AISI 5160 high carbon spring steel for exceptional strength, durability, and sharpness. Every slice can be made with fluid motion and precise control thanks to the hammered finish along the blade's spine, which also lessens drag and food sticking.
This slicer knife's aesthetically pleasing dark wood handle, held in place by two metallic rivets and a distinctive decorative copper-like rivet, offers the comfort and stability required for intricate carving.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

- Hand Wash Only: Always wash the knife by hand with warm water and mild soap. Dry it immediately with a soft cloth to prevent moisture spots or corrosion. Never place in a dishwasher.
- Oil After Use: After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (or food-safe mineral oil) to the blade. Rub it gently across the surface using a soft cloth or paper towel. This helps protect the high-carbon steel from moisture and oxidation.
- Store Safely: Keep the knife in a dry environment, preferably in its sheath or on a magnetic strip. Avoid storing it in a damp drawer or leather sheath for extended periods.
Regular oiling is especially important for Damascus blades forged with high-carbon steel, as their layered structure and heat treatment make them exceptionally sharp but more reactive to moisture. Proper care ensures the blade remains rust-free and preserves the striking Damascus pattern for years to come.
