The EdgeCraft Series Bread Knife is made to do one thing: slice bread consistently and flawlessly. This knife's 7.9-inch serrated blade and 12.8-inch overall length allow it to cut through even the crustiest loaves without breaking the soft inside. It works equally well for cakes, pastries, and other soft foods that need to be handled gently thanks to its finely sharpened serrations.
This blade is hand-forged from 224 layers of Damascus steel, combining AISI 4340 nickel alloy steel and AISI 5160 high carbon spring steel to provide remarkable durability, sharpness, and aesthetic appeal. In addition to improving appearance, the hammered finish close to the spine also lessens drag during cutting.
With two metallic rivets and a decorative copper-like rivet for added strength and style, the 4.9-inch ergonomic dark wood handle is designed for comfort and control. This bread knife, which weighs 240g and has a 1.8mm blade thickness, provides the ideal ratio of weight to accuracy.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

- Hand Wash Only: Always wash the knife by hand with warm water and mild soap. Dry it immediately with a soft cloth to prevent moisture spots or corrosion. Never place in a dishwasher.
- Oil After Use: After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (or food-safe mineral oil) to the blade. Rub it gently across the surface using a soft cloth or paper towel. This helps protect the high-carbon steel from moisture and oxidation.
- Store Safely: Keep the knife in a dry environment, preferably in its sheath or on a magnetic strip. Avoid storing it in a damp drawer or leather sheath for extended periods.
Regular oiling is especially important for Damascus blades forged with high-carbon steel, as their layered structure and heat treatment make them exceptionally sharp but more reactive to moisture. Proper care ensures the blade remains rust-free and preserves the striking Damascus pattern for years to come.
